Ukraine asking for 5 billion more in a stand-by credit from IMF

Ukraine’s government proposed the International Monetary Fund to grant it $5 billion as its next stand-by credit – informed Irina Akimova, first deputy chair of the presidential administration. “This was the previous number”, - she reminded.

Ukraine has renewed its relations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) which will allow it to acquire approximately 2 billion more from the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
